The development of socio economical system of a country depends on its educational systems. The academic level of citizens plays an important role in strengthening the social, economical and technological fabric of a nation. Due to technological progress and new visits of knowledge resulting from scientific innovation. The role of teacher is now assuming new dimensions. A teacher should have through understanding about the latest technique and methods of transaction. The should constantly renew his knowledge, methodology and techniques. More competent and committed teachers are required in the classroom because the best curriculum and the most perfect syllabus remain ineffective in the absence of competent and committed teacher, failure or success of an educational system depends on a teacher. Providing information is not enough, the information should lead to formation of the learner’s character and gradually a transmission of personality. In the words of Radhakrishnan “Education is not limited to the imparting information is the training of skills, it has to give the educated a proper sense of values” Teacher is the backbone of entire educational system including teaching learning process. The teacher is however, the most important factors for quality improvement in Education. Our college has taken wide range of various activities to competent the student teachers for bringing out the best possible results of their efforts and planning.
